Job description

Our Client, a world leading, FTSE listed, household name has an excellent opportunity to join their progressive, fast moving finance function as part of a new business wide transformation project. Working closely with Project Managers, Directors and Financial Controller for the Project, the successful candidate will enjoy a varied, business partnering role. You will challenge Project Cost Centre managers, performing variance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities and budgeting & forecasting. As well as supporting the monthly financial reporting & control of the Project, you will record internal and external development costs, ensuring project costs are appropriately allocated to projects and reconcile the capitalised expenditure and preparation of finance packs. The successful candidate will be of graduate calibre and a Part Qualified or Finalist level CIMA / ACCA studier with experience gained in a fast paced, medium to large sized business. You will have proven analytical ability, excellent Excel and Spreadsheet skills and the ability to challenge, communicate and articulate yourself at all levels including with the non finance community.
