Job description

A leading Lloyds of London syndicate requires a Financial Analyst to support finance projects. This role offers excellent involvement with a variety of stakeholders around the business, as well as exposure to the entire project lifecycle. Responsibilities: supporting the delivery of finance projects by providing financial advice and decision support; translate, document and analyse finance requirements, processes and solutions; control and report on status of current projects, identifying issues and communicating them to Project Managers; conduct gap analysis to identify opportunities for improvement; test new systems to ensure they meet requirements, and liaise with Technical teams to ensure they meet business needs. Requirements: ACA qualified or equivalent with strong academics; background in the insurance industry strongly preferred (although candidates with relevant experience in broader Financial Services may be considered); strong analytical and decision-making skills; experience of working on finance projects, as well as identifying and manipulating data; excellent interpersonal skills and strong evidence of building relationships with business stakeholders.
