Job description
A Management Accountant is required to support the Finance Manager in the preparation of financial statistics and management accounts. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of the fixed asset register, managing capital expenditure processes, ensuring compliance with corporate authorisation guidelines, monthly reconciliation of stock accounts, weekly/monthly reporting, supporting the annual raw material stock take and processing stock transactions. To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA or equivalent) with a manufacturing background. You will also need to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a range of people. Additionally, as the Management Accountant you will need to be able to work on your own initiative, and have the confidence to challenge the norm and drive change as required. A flexible approach is also important. As a large corporate company, our client enables their customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. With customers across the globe, their product portfolio includes high-end analytical equipment, software and services. They have a large onsite car park and are easily commutable from the Leicester, Nottingham & Derby areas.
