Job description

A tier-one Investment Bank seeks a Senior Project Manager for a high visibility change programme. The programme will deliver fundamental change in the way financial reporting is managed across the organisation by standardising global business processes; implementing end-to-end control framework; prioritising projects to deliver the most business benefits from the available resources and off-shoring processes where possible. Responsibilities: transformation of the financial close process by implementing a new monthly close timetable for finance, risk and treasury, over the life-cycle of the programme; oversee documentation of ‘as-is’ processes to reveal targets for optimisation; define ‘to-be’ end-state financial close processes, design month close target operating model; manage all close aspects from input to GL design, overall solution design, system & feed orchestration to completion of requirements documents. Requirements: strong project management experience within Financial Services; financial reporting systems change experience; investment banking product knowledge; accountancy qualification desirable.
