Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk

Eurowrap is a busy Import company that has built an enviable position as key suppliers of bespoke designed gift bags, gift wrap, gift boxes and coordinated accessories to many of the leading high street retailers in the UK.

We are currently looking for a temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk to assist with absence cover. You must be accurate with your work and especially reliable, to join this fast-moving business.

You will be able to work unsupervised once you are trained. You must also be flexible in your attitude, as the position requires a variety of tasks.

The post offers the opportunity for you to learn Sage Line 100 and to use Excel and pivot tables extensively.

Working in a team of 3 you will be responsible for matching delivery notes to purchase orders and purchase invoices. Inputting these onto sage. Implementing the weekly and monthly cheque runs, booking in of stock received, reconciling receipts with sales invoices, bank reconciliation, filing of sales and purchase invoices and other tasks which support the general accounting process.

You must be local with your own transport to enable you to arrive at Skelmersdale promptly, as the hours of work are Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00.
