Job description

An opportunity has arisen to work for my client in their offices near Coventry as a temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk within their established Finance team reporting to the Finance Supervisor. The role and your responsibilities: you will be responsible for full reconciliation of purchase ledger; investigating any price differences and debit notes; raising manual invoices for overpayment; communicating with suppliers to gain statements. Experience sought in the successful candidate: essential: you will have previous purchase ledger experience from a big company in particular with reconciliations, and have experience of using a large ERP system; experience and knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential, previous use of formulas, sorting and manipulating data is also required along with excellent communication skills. You must be available to start a temporary assignment within 1 week. Desirable: you will ideally have a good understanding of the accounts in general and are able to problem solve effectively. Previous experience of using SAP would be advantageous.
