Job description

I am currently recruiting for a leading global Media company. Due to recent UK growth, they have a current requirement for a high-calibre Purchase Ledger Clerk. Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager, this role will play a pivotal role in the accounts payable process for multiple areas of the business. To apply for the role, candidates must have solid purchase ledger experience, and be an excellent communicator with an outgoing personality. Responsibilities of the role include processing & coding of invoices using SUN system, running weekly payment runs, reconciling supplier accounts on a monthly basis and handling supplier queries efficiently and promptly. Once on board you will be fully supported in your studies and have the opportunity to progress within the business after 18 months- 2 years in the role. The successful candidate will ideally come from a media environment, with strong numeracy and communication skills and an accountancy- related degree. Once on board, you would be fully supported in your studies for an ACCA or CIMA qualification. The salary on offer is £21,000 - £23,000 plus a competitive benefits package.
