Job description

A Purchase Ledger Manager is required for this successful and growing business. This newly created position will lead a new medium to large Purchase Ledger team. This is an excellent chance to join a business with great potential, at a time where you can take a senior lead in the shaping of the Purchase Ledger function. You will be responsible for the success of the entire Purchase Ledger department taking responsibility for the recruitment, training, management and development of your team. As well as ensuring the Accounts Payable division achieves all agreed targets and objectives. You will also be responsible for the development and implementation of departmental procedures. As the Manager of the department, you will be accountable for the key accounts within the business, as well as being a point of escalation for any complex queries or issues that arise. You will also be the authorisation point on all payments made by the business. Ideally you will have previous experience within a similar position and be able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities. You will also have the ability to drive change within a expanding newly created team.
