Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Purchase Ledger Supervisor to work within a national Charity. You will play an integral role in the entire purchase ledger function for the entire charity. Duties and responsibilities: develop, implement and monitor procedures and policy compliance whilst improving accounts payable procedures and processes; input invoices and pass for authorisation; match printed cheques with invoices; correct purchase ledger errors for audit purposes; month end close, reconciliation, and accruals; manage the processing and payment of supplier invoices and expense reports. The successful candidate will have the following: studying towards an accountancy related qualification; proven track record of purchase ledgering; the ability to work to monthly deadlines; previous experience of computerised ledgers, preferably SUN; good team working skills; great interpersonal and communications skills. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate to propel themselves into a dynamic Charity organisation.
