Job description
A large, well known manufacturing company is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to manage the day to day activities of the Purchase Ledger department, to be based at their offices near Oxford. Supervising a large team of ledger clerks, it will be your responsibility to ensure that high volumes of invoices are authorised in the appropriate time whilst maintaining both the stability and continued success of the department. Reporting into the Purchase Ledger Manager, you will produce various management reports, offer support and advice to other staff, and deal with any outstanding queries, as well as meet with suppliers as and when required. This is a very busy role where the team process high volumes of invoices and transactions, therefore experience in a similar environment is essential. The successful candidate will have covered all aspects of purchase ledger, possess advanced Excel skills and have significant team management experience.
