Job description

Our Big 4 client is currently looking to expand on its existing Quantitative Analysis business to capture exciting opportunities within the Energy, Private Equity and Hedge Fund sectors. As a result they are looking for skilled postgraduates or equivalent professionals with experience in financial engineering. The Quantitative Analysis team provides services to clients ranging from valuation of a wide range of complex financial products to the construction of models for pricing and analyzing financial risk. They also perform reviews of client models or valuations. Suitable applicants should be highly numerate and analytical graduates, preferably with an MSc or PhD in financial mathematics or a highly numerate subject. An up-to-date understanding of financial mathematics in particular derivative pricing and modelling would be advantageous. Also experience of implementing these skills in an investment appraisal or transactions environment or some experience of implementing quantitative analysis and risk management techniques in a practical setting gained in Financial Services, consultancy or a relevant role in industry.
