Job description
Supporting the CFO, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects at a strategic and board level. More specifically you will support the Project Leaders in bid management, planning and strategy. You will manage whole life costs, construction phase financials & operational SPV management. This role operates at a senior level within the organisation and you will liaise with directorships on a portfolio of company boards and play a key role in orchestrating forecasting, budgeting and tracking processes - liaising with portfolio General Managers & Chief Executives. Managing a team, you will oversee the provision of monthly reporting packs to shareholders and will continually look for ways of driving efficiencies & ensuring best practice as well as developing & improving financial systems, procedures and controls. Requirements: you will be qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and will be able to demonstrate a track record of achievement within a PFI/SPV environment; you may also have worked within the construction or facilities management sector and you will be accustomed to leading end-to-end programmes, managing a dedicated finance function & influencing senior board members & investors. As they continue to grow they require an outstanding Finance Director to join them and help to drive continued success. Salary and benefits: salary on offer is £75,000 - £85,000 per annum plus benefits. Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
