Job description
Our client, a private Healthcare organisation based in North London, is looking to recruit a Regional Finance Director on an interim period. This particular organisation is a major centre for training medical and non-medical professionals each year. Reporting to the Group FD, this role will manage the Finances for several of their main centres, focusing mainly on strategic and financial planning but also extending to advising and enabling other divisions to maximise the use of their resources. Key responsibilities are: delivering an effective finance function through strong leadership and management; rolling out the three year financial plans in order to deliver a commercial focus, whilst maintaining a value for money approach; developing and improving current systems and procedures in order to improve financial visibility, risk areas and the internal reputation of the department; attending public and Board meetings in order to present financial information on the performance of the business. The appropriate candidate will have previous experience working at a similar level from a private health or pharmaceutical background. You will be a qualified Accountant with an appreciation of the current health economy and will have the ability to deal with difficult situations.
