Job description
My client is a medium sized Manufacturing business, a market leader in its specialist field. With a track record of growth, both organic and through acquisitions, they are now seeking to add to their busy Finance team. The Regional Financial Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities for a number of legal entities. Specifically, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory requirements and delivering all key accounting information to deadlines. You will supervise the month end process, work with the Tax Manager to ensure the accuracy of tax returns and produce analysis and recommendations on results for business improvements. You will also hold responsibility for the budgeting and forecasting process for your designated legal entities and be expected to develop initiatives to improve commerciality and drive efficiencies across the Finance team. The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with a track record of working in a broad finance role with exposure to UK and US GAAP and IFRS. You will have strong Excel and project management skills and be able to work to tight deadlines.
