A global Logistics company based at its UK headquarters in North West London requires a Regional Financial Controller (UK and Caspian) to join its Finance team.
What we're looking for
- Reporting to the Global CFO and Board of Directors.
- Responsible for managing the company's Accounting, Financial Control and Treasury function for the UK and Caspian region.
- Assisting in maximising the return on shareholders funds by maximising company profits by monitoring company performance of financial and accounting operations and recommending and implementing change where necessary.
- Supporting the Board of Directors to ensure management objective for short mid and long-term are achieved and will be expected to contribute fully to the company's development and profitable growth.
- Produce reports for Directors accurately informing company's financial situation and comments for action.
- Ensure the Finance team is structured and resourced to meet objectives.
- Monitor and review budgets and financial plans on a quarterly basis.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, consolidated for the UK and foreign subsidiaries.
- Management the Annual Audit process.
- Ensure the company and subsidiaries adhere to appropriate levels on controls and group standards.
- Manage the company's treasury position including liquidity and cash flow forecasting for short, mid and long-term.
- Cooperate with the company's Tax Advisors and ensure returns are made on time.
Who we're looking for
- Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent with PQE.
- Strong technical Accountant with good proven commercial acumen.
- Able to drive through change.
- Management experience.
- Freedom to travel.
- Motivated.
- Ideally to have multi site global background.
