Job description
Our Client, an international banking group, is currently seeking a part qualified accountant to join their Regulatory Reporting team to be responsible for advising the business on the capital implications of new business initiatives for preparing some of the more complex returns. Responsibilities include: prepare monthly analysis of RWA and the capital position the Group for senior management; review all returns to the FSA, Bank of England, and the group Pillar 3 disclosures to the market; advise the business on the capital implications of business initiatives; deal with queries and ad hoc information requests from the Bank of England and FSA; prepare the daily liquidity reports under both the existing and soon to be implemented liquidity regimes; provide technical review of all new Basel II Requirements and ensure adherence to BIPRU and GENPRU. The successful candidate will ideally be part qualified accountant with strong regulatory reporting experience gained within a leading retail or investment bank. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and will combine this with good communication and relationship building skills. The ideal candidate will also be immediately available or on a short notice period.
