Job description

Our client, the UK arm of a global Financial Services company, requires a Senior Financial Accountant to join its Regulatory Reporting team. Reporting to the FD key responsibilities will include: ensuring all group companies have submitted regulatory reports in accordance with UK/EU deadlines and guidelines; preparation of Group reporting including group consolidation work; development and review of internal controls and procedures; assisting with tax and reporting requirements for Group companies; advising the board on solvency impacts of changes in balance sheet items; involvement with ad hoc project based work. The successful candidate will be a career motivated, technically strong Financial Accountant, holding a recognised accounting qualification. Previous experience of regulatory reporting within Financial Services and more specifically insurance will be crucial.
