Job description
My client based in central Leeds is an immediately recognisable Financial Services organisation with a reputation for product and service excellence. As part of a UK wide restructure my client is wishing to recruit a high calibre individual to work within the Mortgage Finance team. Candidates will be qualified ACA (big 4/mid tier) or Finalist/qualified CIMA/ACCA. Commerce & industry background. Working as part of small dedicated team your brief will be to provide in-depth financial analysis and commentary of economic and consumer trends affecting present and future promotions and product launches. You will quickly build a detailed knowledge of financial products, competitor pricing and how this information can be utilised to maintain and increase profitability. Up-Line the Divisional MD will use this analysis to shape the strategy of the business going forward. Working with the P&L Analyst and you will also assist with ad hoc analysis for the quarterly products forecast reports as well as tracking and reporting on team budget against actuals. Finalist/qualified ACA/CIMA or ACCA (you will be highly numerate with the ability to influence business stakeholders and the wider business community demonstrable through your previous experience in report writing and business interface at the highest level.
