Job description

My client who is a well established organisation is recruiting for an Accountant with good UK GAAP, IFRS knowledge. The team the role sits within is primarily responsible for the production of information to assist in the production of important statutory information, this will involve mapping data and producing reports. This is a great opportunity for a first step out of practice or an industry role. Responsibilities include: preparation and presentation of information; dealing with stakeholders requirements including gathering information; consolidation of financial statements, mapping information in the system and extracting it plus maintaining documents are a part of the role. To be considered you will be a part-qualified/qualified Accountant with have strong technical accounting knowledge, ideally with UK GAAP/IFRS. In addition you must be a very good IT user of Excel to a high level and ideally some knowledge of MS Access. In return you will be provided with a progressive opportunity in a supportive working environment.
