Job description
The Company: Our client is a FTSE listed PLC with strong continued growth and now operating as the market leader within the UK and throughout Europe. The successful applicant can expect an internal move / promotion every 18 months to 2 years. The Opportunity: This is a high profile role within the FP&A team which provides analysis and direction to the UK Finance Director, key internal stakeholders and the overall group team. Responsibilities will include: P&L , balance sheet and KPI reporting; consolidation of flash P&L analysis; consolidating the annual budget, five year plan, P&L, balance sheet and KPI’s; cashflow reporting and forecasting; responsible for producing cash flow forecasts, FX forecasts and reviewing actual cash flow performance; performance Review and Reporting: managing business unit performance reviews including managing the monthly balance sheet and cash committees; supporting the development of the UK&I budget presentation; Financial Control: developing and ensuring appropriate controls are in place throughout the balance sheet and general ledger for the UK&I finance team; systems development :delivering improved quality reporting through Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management. Individuals will also be extensively involved with process improvements and audits. The individual: an ambitious, dynamic individual perhaps well suited to a chartered accountant from a top practice looking to make a move into an environment that will match their ambitions or a commercially seasoned professional with a relevant accountancy qualification who is looking to push their career to new heights having qualified within the last 2-3 years. Experience / desire to manage a team will be essential as will be the desire to progress internally after a spell in this high profile position.
