Job description
An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced, qualified Accountant to join our client, an international bank that has growing offices in Manchester. Key skills: you will be qualified in either ACA, CIMA, ACCA; experience in IFRS; deadline driven with effective time management skills; leadership and management; would suit qualified ACA from larger Practice. Position summary: ensuring adequate production of statutory reporting; ensure follow up of statutory development; follow up evolution of IFRS Accounting Principles; provision of Information to Auditors; ensure proper communication of changes of regulation to management; support for specific projects; statutory reporting: ensure timely, accurate reporting is provided to the authorities and management, amongst others: consolidated annual accounts (statutory accounts); information to work councils; board reporting; involvement in internal assessment of risk management (2008_12); pillar III; ensure alignment with: Basel II reporting; FINREP.
