Job description

A leading Fashion Retailer, based in the heart of London, is looking to recruit a Budgeting and Forecasting Manager for a 12-month contract. This role reports directly into the FD and will involve responsibility for all budgeting and forecasting processes, including annual budgeting and strategic business plans. Key responsibilities include: leading the budgeting processes including understanding the commercial effects of business decisions; provide ongoing store support on forecasting and budgeting; providing analytical support byt reviewing P&L and monthly sales forecast; supervision of 2 members of staff; overseeing capital appraisals for all new projects. This role is suited for a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) who has a thorough understanding of the retail sector, particularly with regards to budgeting and forecasting. A second language is highly desirable but not essential. Previous supervisory experience is essential whilst a working knowledge of SAP is beneficial.
