Job description
Our client is one of the world’s most recognised Media and Entertainment Giants. It is currently recruiting for a qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) Accountant to join the business as the Retail Planning Manager. Based in the head office in Central London you will be sitting in the Commercial Planning team and acting as a real Business Partner to the Sales teams. Reporting to the Commercial Planning Controller you will be providing sound decision-making around customer profitability, promotional deal analysis, sales and profitability forecasting. In additional to this you will be developing and building short term forecasts, budgeting, 3-year strategic plans and building the retail strategy with the Sales Director. This role will have full ownership of key retailer P&Ls, focusing on profit, margins, return on investment, key KPIs and identification of risks and opportunities. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with strong evidence of business partnering. Strong commercial acumen, high levels of attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders is a must.
