Job description
A Risk Management Advisor is required reporting to the Head of internal Audit. You will operate as part of a team recognised as a key driving force to improve the control environment & business performance. Responsibilities will include: operational & financial review covering both planning & reporting phases, ad hoc value added projects sponsored at a group level, facilitation of best practice sharing, agreeing & implementing change & working closely with Operational teams at subsidiary level. The role will involve travel throughout the UK. Ideally you will have a strong academic background, an excellent track record in risk & a recognised accounting qualification. Essential will be the ability to interact & influence at all levels & the initiative to act with an element of independence. Proven analytical skills, attention to detail, up-to-date knowledge of IFRS & excellent report writing skills are basic prerequisites. Operational and commercial knowledge, with particular focus on stock will help you to stand out.
