Job description
This well established company is at the forefront of its field with offices around the world. Recognising that their competitive advantage comes from employing the best people they are now looking to recruit a Risk and Compliance Manager. The principal accountability of the role will be to ensure that there are appropriate procedures, controls and support in place to ensure that the business is fully compliant with the provisions of the UK Bribery Act. Key responsibilities relating to this act will include introducing policies and guidelines across the business, the implementation of training for all relevant personnel, the establishment of internal controls and the preparation of ongoing risk assessment procedures amongst others. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant, possibly from Practice, with an analytical and logical approach and the ability to adapt to a diverse range of situations and surroundings. Moreover, they must be outgoing, persuasive and a confident communicator with people of all levels and disciplines.
