Job description
Our client is a world-wide Manufacturing business with a strong brand and reputation in its field. They are now seeking to recruit a talented Finance Manager or Financial Controller for one of their Birmingham sites. The successful candidate will take responsibility for corporate reporting including P&L and balance sheet, budgeting and forecasting. Candidates will be either qualified or QBE but essential requirements are demonstrable experience within a volume manufacturing environment, strong standard costing awareness, variance analysis and strong systems skills. Strong SAP experience is essential, especially FI/CO and MS and candidates should have the ability to interrogate variances and generate reports within SAP. Candidates should also have strong analytical skills with good Excel knowledge. You will be an able communicator with the potential to develop your own role and exposure within the group. Opportunities for progression within the wider group are available and as such an ability to interface across function and level is highly desirable.
