Job description
My client is undertaking a 3 year £70m supply chain transformation programme enabled by SAP and now seeks to appoint a SAP Technical Project Manager to be responsible for SAP solution delivery (template design and deployment) and to ensure the required SAP functionality is delivered and released on time and in full, according to business requirements. The incumbent will directly manage a team of SAP consultants (and developers), lead and manage the delivery of SAP integration and architecture, build and manage customer relationships and deliver value creation, service delivery, supplier management, managing people, risk, financial planning & control. Applicants must be able to evidence experience across the following areas: deep and broad knowledge of the full SAP delivery lifecycle for 3 or more implementations across multi industry and multi geography implementations; implementation of large scale SAP projects essential; SAP technical and integration landscape/architecture concepts; SAP data migration lifecycle management; SAP test lifecycle management; SAP technical specification, ABAP and Interface development management; SAP access and authorisation management; typically, the job holder will have wider experience in IT management with knowledge of one or more business processes (specifically sales & distribution, production planning, product costing). IT delivery expertise - can lead delivery resources (applications, technology 3rd Parties) to bring about successful outcomes on functional and non-functional needs, with added dimension of hands-on knowledge and experience. You will also need to evidence managing large matrix teams of off-shore and on-shore resource and strong leadership skills. The role can be based in the Netherlands Amsterdam or South West UK.
