An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced SAS Analyst to join our client a reputable and recognisable organisation based in Halifax. You will be part of a financial development focused project until June. Key responsibilities of the SAS Analyst position will include: data mapping and writing specifications; analysis of data migration; validation of large volumes of data; ensuring data is managed securely, maintained appropriately and analysed correctly in line with data protection legislation & industry; data manipulation; delivering insight and recommendations to the business by designing and developing a central based system to load and input data through SAS; analytic review and recommendation. The ideal SAS Analyst will possess the following attributes/skills: essential: a proactive approach; extensive base SAS and SAS Macros; Business/Data Analyst background; exposure to Basel desirable but not essential; creating test plans.
