Job description
Eden Scott’s client is looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join its Finance team. Main duties: to provide assistance to the Manager in the preparation of online entries regarding fee payment and cash allocation; to provide assistance in ensuring the client ledger within accounting system is properly maintained at all times; obtaining files from around the office and photocopying information as required; to carry out file reviews regarding drafting reminder letters; other general office duties as directed including regular filing; to carry out other finance related tasks as directed by the Partnership Accountant, Deputy Partnership Accountant and Credit Control Manager; the above list is not exhaustive and additional duties will be allocated as appropriate. Experience/knowledge required: careful and methodical worker with particular regard to attention to detail; reliability with a business - like attitude to the work involved; strong administration and communication skills; general office department responsibilities, preferably in a professional office; ability to work to deadlines; knowledge of Microsoft applications; knowledge of Lawsoft is desirable.
