Job description
Key accountabilities: to work with internal stakeholders eg Business Managers, and with data sources eg loss data, audit reports etc to identify and develop the critical risks facing the bank; to implement the structure and methodologies for operational risk corporate scenario analysis; implementation of the methodologies to assess the severity and exposure of scenarios; to develop a first set of scenarios for assessment to use to pilot the process; to develop a scenario schedule for all scenarios; to track progress against plan and manage change control; to develop and conduct analysis of scenario results and report to relevant stakeholders; to implement appropriate governance activity; to ensure the quality and appropriateness of the scenario analysis and the documentary evidence supplied. Skills & experience required: ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders from retail, wholesale, commercial banking as well as Specialist functions such as finance, marketing IT; ability to discuss the impact of scenario events and facilitate workshops across the bank. Experience working with: stress testing; scenario analysis and; capital adequacy modelling; good knowledge and experience of modelling for capital adequacy, the effects of risk events on the balance sheet etc; ability to facilitate workshops and meetings across a wide variety of business contexts.
