Job description
Due to continued growth and recent client wins, our client which is a leading independent Firm of Chartered Accountants in Chesterfield is looking to recruit a Semi Senior. Within the role you will deal with a mix of bookkeeping, accounts preparation, VAT and payroll. You will deal with a varied mix of clients and these will include sole traders and Limited Companies. A good working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP is mandatory. The successful candidate will have: practice experience; be AAT qualified or completed part of their ACCA (or equivalent) and have previous experience of bookkeeping, VAT returns and accounts preparation experience; proficient in Sage and Iris packages would be advantageous.
