A great opportunity for an experienced candidate to join a respected International Group to help establish and spearhead the Finance and Administration function for a newly formed company in the UK. Based in the Greater Manchester area the position would report to the Site Director in the UK and functionally to the FC in Europe.The ideal candidate is likely to be dynamic, proactive and, given the nature of the company in its early days, be both happy and comfortable working ‘hands on’. Equally as the company progresses there may be a need to recruit a small team to assist for the future. Any previous exposure to project accounting or the construction sector would be an added advantage.This is a new position where the responsibilities, although not set in stone, are likely to be as follows:Key Responsibilities: Overall charge of financial accounting, management accounting, credit control, and statutory requirementsImplement financial policies, analyses business information and advises management on overall business operations.Prepares financial and management reports, budgets and forecasts.Manage and oversee general office administration.Plan, organise and control all administration functions and procedures to support the businessEstablish guidelines, workflow processes and procedures to improve administrative and operational control and efficiency.Requirements: Qualified or exceptional Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/ACMAExcellent leader and team player with good interpersonal skills
