Job description
A global Manufacturing organisation based in West Yorkshire is currently looking to appoint a Senior UK Accountant with a view to progressing into an executive finance role within the next 18 months. Reporting to the FD this is a high profile role and key responsibilities include: managing the day-to-day company financial transactions working closely with a variety of internal stakeholders across the UK business; you will also have responsibility; for filing documents with companies house in respect of corporate restructuring/closures etc; supporting the UK Tax department on its strategy around corporation tax and transfer tax; you will play a key role in the completion of the UK statutory accounts for all legal entities as well as US GAAP annual returns. The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting experience. You will have first rate communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to manage and prioritise competing priorities.
