Job description

Bond Williams Accounting & Finance is recruiting a Senior Actuarial Analyst for a large, highly successful Bournemouth based insurance. The role: working as part of a small team, you would have responsibility for financial modelling for model loss ratios, persistency rates and premium increase projections; derive, recommend and document embedded value bases and model embedded value outcomes; support the production of other regular deliverables including reserve and loss ratio updates; design and recommend improvements to the models, outputs and processes; identify and monitor key elements affecting the company’s profitability and performance including early warning indicators; provide technical support, and guidance to other Actuarial team members including coaching, developing and appraising. You will need to be a graduate with a degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science or similar and be qualified or nearly qualified in the actuarial professional qualifications (a minimum of all CT exams passed). You will also need to have experience within the insurance/Financial Services sector, very strong IT skills (Excel, Access) including VBA/SQL programming. Experience of Prophet would be desirable.
