Job description

Eden Scott’s client, a global Financial Services organisation, is now recruiting a part-qualified Accountant to join one of its Retail Banking arms on a 6 month basis. Responsibilities: production of accurate MI to support the decision-making process whilst maintaining a strong control environment; deliver monthly financials for profit & loss and balance sheet; act as a point of contact for a variety of stakeholders, providing information and answering queries on a number of retail products including credit cards, investment products, financial planning and transfer pricing; manage and maintain a reconciliation and control framework; deal with a changing IT and reporting system, managing business as usual whilst ensuring new systems are effective. Experience/background: part-qualified Accountant with practical analytical experience; Financial Services experience is highly preferred although Big 4 or blue chip complex company background would be considered; exposure to a retail banking environment (product driven); positive, proactive and enthusiasm are essential.
