Job description

Our client is a leading global Financial Services firm based in Bermuda and provides fund administration, trust, custody, asset management and banking services to both private and corporate clients. They are seeking a Senior Asset Liability Analyst who will assist in measuring and analysing exposures to interest rate risk and identifying asset/liability strategies under various interest rate scenarios. Responsibilities: market risk stress testing and analysis; assisting with the balance sheet management, strategic analysis, and market risk monitoring of the Bank on a daily basis; analysing interest rate risk and liquidity exposure; developing and analysing risk and price characteristics of deposit, lending and fixed income security portfolios; compiling the monthly ALCO reporting pack; ad hoc ALM analyses. Requirements: University degree ACA, CPA, ACCA, CFA, masters degree, MBA or equivalent qualified; experience within the banking, accounting or Financial Services industry; experience with the analysis and pricing of fixed income securities; proficiency in the use of Bloomberg an advantage; proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and Access; excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate Balance Sheet analysis and market risk metrics to senior management. Salary on offer is $130,000 Bermuda Dollars per annum with 4.75% tax plus mortgage benefit. Closing date 7th July 2009.
