Job description

A successful local firm with an enviable record of growth now seeks a Senior Audit Manager to effectively develop and deliver value added services to a portfolio of high profile corporate clients. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the firm’s crop of talented staff and continue to develop and achieve their ambitions and potential. Key areas: manage a diverse range of audit clients across a variety of industry sectors, including high street names and multinational groups; business development activities and winning work by proactively managing existing clients and targeting new audit and non-audit clients; effectively manage, motivate, mentor and develop a team of qualified, part-qualified and trainees; create a vibrant working environment, where individual talent can thrive, within a dynamic team framework, where all work towards a common objective; deliver all work within the predetermined timetable and agreed budget; establish a strong network of contacts internally and externally, including bank Managers and solicitors. Skills: ACA/CA/ACCA qualified; degree qualified; confident self-starter; up-to-date technical knowledge (UK GAAP, IFRS, International Auditing Standards, Companies Act legislation); strong project management skills, ensure multiple projects are completed on an accurate and timely basis and within budget; excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including report writing.
