Job description
We are working on behalf of one of the region's leading Financial Services institutions. Throughout a period of economic uncertainty, and challenging market conditions, our client have continued to grow, develop and further strengthen their already impressive portfolio. Largely as a result of further growth activity, the business is looking to bolster their Audit department with the appointment of an experienced, Financial Services Business Auditor. They have a rigorous audit schedule in place, and are looking for a qualified Finance professional to conduct a series of risk-based audits, identifying any apparent issues, implementing various controls and recommending business critical action to senior management. You will be able to demonstrate experienced working within a Financial Services body, with excellent knowledge of a wide range of audit methodologies and techniques. You will also have particularly strong interpersonal skills, the ability to plan and prioritise effectively, and solid report-writing capabilities. Any exposure within a treasury-related discipline, whilst not essential, would offer a distinct advantage. In return, the business offer a comprehensive benefits package, and genuine opportunities for significant career advancement and development.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
