Job description
Hays senior finance is currently recruiting a Senior Business Analyst/Systems Accountant to join this high profile team in Edinburgh. As a qualified Accountant with previous experience of working within a technical environment you will be the interface between IT and the project team. As part of the project team, you will report to the Migration Manager with the following key responsibilities: you will be responsible for the gathering of the FinRec Business Requirements. You will develop and deliver the Finance FinRec approach. You will be responsible for the development of the required extract from Finance systems to support the FinRec activity. You will be responsible for the development of any required reconciliation tool for Finance. Support the testing of FinRec activity. You will be responsible for the execution of FinRec at each of the migration events. You will provide regular updates to the various governance bodies. This is an excellent opportunity to join a very high profile project team. It will offer the successful candidate the experience of working with a very strong team and the visibility with senior level stakeholders across the company. This role will suit a candidate who can manage a demanding workload and be able to demonstrate sound technical knowledge, specifically with regards to previous system implementation work.
