Job description
An excellent opportunity has arisen within a blue chip business located in central Ipswich for a Financial Analyst/Commercial Accountant. The main purpose of the role is assist in the preparation and analysis of management and financial information, to include development and operation of processes. The role will also work with senior and board level management in the implementation and understanding of financial information. You will be responsible for: month end and forecasting processes; regular maintenance of business models; project accounting and analysis; develop month end reporting; process improvements; implement changes to processes reflecting business needs and operational requirements, along with leading improvements; manage processes by maintaining, documenting and achieving business sign offs, ensuring all processes are compliant. The successful candidate will be: qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA – CFA also considered; excellent Excel experience with the ability to produce and present information and analysis through the modelling; experience of handling and manipulating large volumes of data; experience with financial/accounting processes; ability to understand and analyse complex financial data.
