Job description

My client is currently looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst. Accountabilities: initial task is to develop financial modelling around proposed customer bonus suite and loyalty programme for new website; work closely with all members of the new Interactive Management team and Springboard Project team in all areas of financial modelling and commercial analysis; support the budgeting, re-forecasting and strategic planning process with insights driven through commercial analysis; work closely with existing team of Analysts in Woking to understand data sources, ensure all insights from team are aligned and quality of analytical support is maintained; proactive analysis to help drive decision-making around new site launch. Knowledge skills & experience: ideally a qualified Accountant (preferably CIMA); ideally has experience working in the online gambling industry; extensive experience of planning, forecasting and delivery of insight through analysis, preferably within a customer-facing online business; advanced knowledge of modelling and analytical techniques; advanced level of Excel and systems skills; experience with databases and dashboards desirable; strong written communications skills; experience of delivering complex projects; ability to manage and manipulate large volumes of data; proven track record of delivering quantifiable benefits to businesses; strong relationship building and interpersonal skills; demonstrable track record of commercial awareness; results driven, able to work at fast pace and juggle multiple priorities whilst ensuring accuracy; must be a proactive and personable individual who has the ability to take ownership of this area and drive improvement; the role ideally would be full-time in Gibraltar but 3 weeks in Woking and 1 week in Gibraltar each month would be acceptable as a minimum for the right candidate; possibility for a permanent job in Gibraltar if this appeals.
