Job description
Our client is a large and complex business that requires a Commercial Analyst for a 12-months maternity cover contract. Reporting to the Group FD, you will have responsibility for the business partnering and support of several key divisions. This will include oversight of all business planning, reviewing commercial proposals, providing support and guidance to the Divisional Management teams, monitoring a variety of projects to ensure adherence to budgets, business modelling and analysis and evaluating proposed changes to processes and systems. This is a hugely varied and interesting role that involves the role-holder in all aspects of the business. It requires a calm professional with the ability to influence and support Senior Managers from different disciplines, strong commercial, business planning and modelling skills and the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload. The ideal applicant for this role is likely to have been an Analyst, Project Manager or Commercial Finance Manager within a larger organisation and will be a fully qualified Accountant with very strong analytical and Excel skills.
