Job description
A world leading insurance company is currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to be the key interface between finance, systems, 3rd party data providers, actuary teams and agency teams. This is an excellent opportunity to manage and take control of the accurate and timely preparation of complex FSA returns and assist with the development and implementation of the new reporting required under Solvency II. The Senior Financial Accountant will also be responsible for: identifying areas of improvement regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of the reporting; liaise and interact effectively, establishing and maintaining good and professional relationships with colleagues across the Company and with agents and brokers who provide data for the preparation of the regulatory returns. The ideal candidate must demonstrate recent regulatory reporting experience within a large complex insurance company. An accounting qualification would be advantageous but not essential. Excellent system skills surrounding Access and Excel however, are essential! Where UK qualifications are specified we will take into account overseas equivalents.
