Job description
Our client is a fast growth FMCG organisation and is the market leader in its field. Following significant development of the business in the UK over the last four years, it continues to enjoy a high rate of growth and supplies many well know blue chip clients across the retail sector. The Board has a clear strategic vision for the future of the business and top enable these plans they are now looking to recruit a Head of Commercial Finance. Working as part of the executive management team and reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for: working closely with Sales and Operations Directors challenging the financial strength and viability of any initiatives and guiding effective business decision making; providing commercial information in relation to past and future business performance, acting as the guardian of decisions that impact on company profit, cash flow and balance sheet; full ownership of the budgeting and forecasting process and the management of the business planning cycle highlighting risks and opportunities; inputting to and owning the new Management information system ensuring that the right commercial information is available to internal users. The successful candidate will be business oriented finance professional with experience of the FMCG or Retail sectors. You will comfortable with a shirt sleeves mentality and have the ability to drive change and add commercial value within a dynamic and fast paced organisation.
