Job description
The FD of a West Midlands acute Trust has asked us to identify a seasoned finance professional to provide senior-level support to a number of areas in the Finance function for a period of at least four months. In addition to the operational duties and monthly accounts, you will also be asked to provide advice on a number of major business decisions affecting the strategic direction of the Trust including financial plans, service delivery and capital schemes. This role would suit someone who has worked at either at deputy or Finance Director level in an acute NHS Trust. You should be hands-on and technically proficient in areas such as NHS costing and business planning, as well as someone who can provide the strategic support requested by the FD.
