Job description
NRG is currently recruiting a permanent Senior Finance Manager for our client, a division of a Corporate Manufacturing organisation based in County Durham. Role: to provide value-adding finance support to the Commercial, Operations & Corporate teams in their decision-making processes through the production & analysis of accounting information & by providing constructive challenge; delivery of the financial aspects of the company’s contractual obligations in Overseas Service (SLA, PAYD); to act as a primary interface with internal & external customers, including review & interrogation of the monthly finance management pack with customers, including narrative commentary on performance, plans & issues, KPIs; to ensure business compliance with company accounting processes & relevant accounting policies; to assess the financial impacts of all contract changes & resultant negotiations; management & delivery of the planning, forecasting & budgeting processes for Overseas Service & Corporate, including liaison & cooperation with all key business stakeholders in Commercial, Operational & Corporate teams; to work with Commercial & Operational management to understand accounting information, including category sales reports, in order to increase sales & profitability; preparation of capital expenditure requests & post investment reviews, ensuring cost benefits are challenged & subsequently through agreement owned by the business; management & development of the Financial Analyst, etc.
