Job description

With a global reach, this business has vast opportunities to progress your career either through the Group Finance function or in a more strategic and business focused role. You will be sitting within the Leadership team in Group Finance, managing a team of approximately 4-5 qualified Accountants. Your key interfaces will be with the CFO and subsidiary partners. The role has the following key responsibilities: year end and quarterly year group reporting of UK results; one of the main points of contact for queries; coordination in relation to all Financial Accounting matters including intercompany transactions, fixed assets and cash office; implementing improvements to existing offshore processes and controls; overseeing the month end management accounting team; managing the UK statutory accounts process under UK GAAP to meet filing deadlines; providing high quality technical accounting advice and ad hoc decision-making support to the business; review and submission of quarterly VAT returns to HMRC; partnering with Senior Business Partners, CFO and CEO in regards to commentary; involvement in ad hoc projects supporting the group’s strategy. To be considered for this role you would be ACA qualified from a large practice background (Top 10); PQE experience in Industry; team management; ideally multi site experience.
