Job description

An international FMCG company requires a Senior Finance Manager to assure financial reporting and accounting governance for specific allocated Hyperion Accounting entities, and lead key projects, focusing on improving local entity accounting operating effectiveness, particularly using SAP and related accounting processes. Reporting to the Europe Finance and Accounting Director, key responsibilities will include: developing key staff to become Super Users in SAP; managing the initiation and approval of accounting projects to harmonise processes across Europe, ensuring clear return on investments are agreed and achieved; carry out monthly analytical review of financial disclosure information. You will also organise and chair finance and accounting governance meetings between management and local entity FDs and Accounting Managers and be responsible for preparing specific key performance indicators within the monthly G&E report. The ideal candidate will be a strong negotiator, with excellent audit and/or internal control experience and US/European GAAP exposure. You will also have a good working knowledge of SAP and Excel skills to Macros level.
