Job description
Our client, a prestigious Services organisation is looking to appoint a Senior Finance Manager to be responsible for the financial accounting across 2 key, legal entities. The role holder will provide astute management information, introduce robust financial controls and ensure regulatory compliance with the FSA. Key accountabilities will include: mentoring a small UK Finance team; providing accurate and compliant financial reports; fully understanding risks and opportunities across both legal entities; overseeing the preparation of financial statements; supervising annual audits; ensuring compliance with both US and UK GAAP; preparing consolidated liquidity and cash flow reports for the Board; adhering with regulatory requirements (FSA); producing ongoing capital planning, controlling month end procedures; approving reconciliations and undertaking ad hoc strategic project work. The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant (preferably ACA) with an excellent academic record of achievement. Applicants must have a commercial outlook and strong financial reporting knowledge. Additionally, demonstrable team leadership experience would be advantageous.
