Job description

My client is a national newspaper publisher and they are recruiting for a talented, ambitious and highly Commercial Senior Finance Manager. Reporting to the Deputy Finance Director, the Senior Finance Manager shall be responsible for management accounts; providing commercial financial support, quality advice, insight and analysis and financial control to these areas; assisting in the delivery of the consolidated reporting, budgeting and forecasting process and identifying and resolving issues before they occur and adding value to the business in both financial and non-financial matters. Requirements: the ideal candidate shall be a qualified Big 4 trained Chartered Accountant with an exemplary academic background with high quality commercial analytical skills; you will have strong influencing skills and judgement to achieve an appropriate balance between challenge and partnership; you will be a highly motivated individual able to juggle multiple priorities working within tight deadlines; and competent with financial modelling and financial and management accounts.
